‘Aathi’ will enter Silver Jubilee, predicts Vikram
– 23.12.2005

People who complain about the enmity among actors should have attended `Aathi’ function; their mouths would be plastered shut. This film, Vijay’s own production will be a feast for Pongal.

The songs were released yesterday as a feast for the ears till then. This function was held at Green Park hotel in Vadapalani. Director Ramana has shown his creativity to book the `Pallavi’ hall for this function. Both the hero Vijay and heroine Trisha did not attend the function. When we were about to raise that point, entered Vikram and Sonia Agarwal.

Filling the absence of Vijay aptly, Vikram released the cassette which was received by Sonia Agarwal.”Vijay is very handsome in `Aathi’. I have to find out how from him. I was the one who released the cassette of `Gilli’. It went on to become a great hit. Similarly I am confident that `Aathi will run for 250 days and celebrate Silver Jubilee. I am already reserving that day for it.”
Such sincere remarks from Vikram prompted producer S A Chandrasekaran, (sorry, according to numerology it is S A Chandrasekara) to look for the Silver Jubilee date. The film’s villain Saikumar attended the function and spoke sky high about Vijay. Attended by the producers A V M Balasubramaniam, A L Alagappan and distributor Anbu Chezhian, the function saw director Ramana getting emotional while thanking SAC for giving him an opportunity to direct the film.

The function got started with Shoba Chandrasekaran lighting the lamp. As Five Star Audio Kalyan was giving vote of thanks, Sangeetha, the light of Vijay’s life, hurried in.
